Direct Medics were delighted to join Belfast Homeless Services for another year in supporting their 10th Annual Shoe Box Appeal. Together, we helped provide much-needed support to those in need this holiday season.
This local initiative has become a cornerstone of our commitment to giving back and provides much-needed relief and assistance to vulnerable individuals and families during the holiday season. Thanks to the generosity of our team and the wider community, we were able to make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
To ensure contributions had the greatest impact, we happily accepted cash donations, which our marketing team thoughtfully used to purchase the items most requested by the Belfast Homeless Services. For those who preferred, items could be purchased directly and dropped off with the Marketing Team. The items we accepted and used to fill the gift bags included:
- Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Socks
- Hats
- Baby Wipes
- Scarves
- Gloves
- Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash
- Sweets/Chocolates
Doubling the Impact
We are also proud to announce that Direct Medics matched the amount donated by staff, doubling the impact of everyone’s contributions. Together, we were able to extend even greater support to those facing challenging times.
